Audit committees in Georgia often receive the same volume as the full board and then have an hour. This engagement cuts the period to the exceptions: uncorrected misstatements the auditor has tabled, accounting treatments still being debated, related-party balances, and any going-concern language that has changed since the last sitting.

The folio is short on purpose. Each page names the issue, shows the number as it stands in the draft, and records what management and the auditor currently say. We sit with the chair beforehand if asked, so the agenda order matches the weight of the pages. We do not speak for the auditor and we do not draft the committee’s minutes.
